The founder of Harmony Inclusion Solutions, Danielle is a mum of four neurodivergent boys. Her eldest is soon to graduate from grade 12 and they have been involved in early intervention and inclusion support since he was three. As a late diagnosed AuADHD women, she uniquely understands the demands on Mum’s who are raising kids who have higher needs. From trying to meet their needs, to meeting her own and her husband’s – who comes first right? The burnout is real, the feelings of overwhelm and never being good enough are valid.
Harmony Inclusion Solutions is a passion project developed after many years working in the NDIS space and noticing a distinct lack of help for parents navigating the school inclusion space. In their early days, Danielle’s boys were in an unsupported learning environment particularly from a sensory perspective. They would have the worst meltdowns after school. Dealing with inclusion support was a nightmare as the school was uninformed on issues pertaining to PDA and sensory diet. Danielle was lucky, she is allied health trained and was able to access professional development in speech and OT which most parents can’t. She was able to speak to doctors and therapists on their level and actively advocate for her kids and herself.
As a support coordinator she finally got sick of not being able to help people in areas that are considered out of scope and decided to launch Harmony Inclusion Solutions.
Danielle is post graduate trained in clinical dietetics trained in South Africa, works as a support coordinator and is enrolled in a masters of Neuro divergence
